The Academic Journal of Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy
Sri Lanka International Journal of Buddhist Studies (SIJBS) is the official academic journal of Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy (SIBA) published annually by its Research and Publication Unit. The Journal, through the publication of scholarly articles and book reviews, aims at promoting study and research on all facets of Buddhist Studies irrespective of traditions, regions, and periods. However, considering the need of the day, the Journal will be a special forum where the scholars in Theravada Buddhism could publish their research findings for wider distribution.
Calling for Articles and Book Reviews
With these aims, the journal welcomes scholarly contributions pertaining to Buddhist philosophy, psychology, psychotherapy, counseling, meditation, ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, language, culture, texts, art, architecture, archeology, history, society, religion, education, myths, and rituals. Only the peer reviewed articles and book reviews will be published in the journal. The copyright of all articles published in the SIJBS are with the Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy.
