Santa Clara, CA (13 April) : The Chronicle of Higher Education, a weekly newspaper of higher education in the USA has recently featured a lengthy and an excellent article with color pictures about International Buddhist College (IBC), a member-institution of the ATBU.

The Chronicle of Higher Education is an educational newspaper distributed widely in all universities and colleges in the USA. The article entitled 'Peace Amid Violence' is published in The Chronicle volume LIII, Number 30 dated March 30, 2007. As an introduction to readers the content shower the heading interestingly as follows: 'Devoted to Study: Young Buddhist monks and nuns at a tiny college in southern Thailand focus on learning, both spiritual and practical, despite growing vilence in the region.'

This is a good publicity of Buddhist education to the general public, particularly among the USA intellectual community. It is indeed worth reading by all the ATBU member-institutions.
